The beating/robbery event took place on Wednesday, Nov. 14 around 5:50 p.m. when Stamford Police responded toa street robbery on Ludlow Street, said Stamford Police Lt. Thomas Scanlon.
When officers arrived on the scene they found a 31-year-old victim who told officers he had been beaten in the head with a hard object by two suspects and they had stolen the contents of his wallet and his cell phone, Scanlon said.
The victim chased one suspect and a fight later ensued where the suspect displayed a firearm. Both suspects were not located on the night of the incident.
The victim was treated at Stamford Hospital for minor injuries, Scanlon said.
Stamford Police Major Crimes continued the investigation and identified the two suspects. The first was Deandre Parsons, 21, from Stamford, and the second suspect was a juvenile whose name is not being released.
On Wednesday, Nov. 21, the Stamford Police Special Response Team and Southwest Regional Emergency Response Team executed search warrants at the residences of each suspect.
The juvenile was then arrested for robbery and conspiracy at robbery.
On Wednesday, Nov. 28, Deandre Parsons, 21, was taken into custody and charged with robbery and conspiracy at robbery.
Parsons is currently on parole and is being held on a remand to custody order.
